2012-2013 Cathedral High School

Cathedral High School is an urban, co-educational, multi-cultural, private Catholic, college-preparatory learning community committed to excellence. A rigorous academic program of studies, small class size, and a safe, nurturing setting provide students the opportunity to develop their full potential. CHS prepares students to think, read and write critically, formulate intelligent opinions, and express those thoughts in an articulate, credible, and convincing manner.

2011-2012 Codman Academy Charter Public School

Tutors for All ran Saturday programs at Codman Academy during the 2011-2012 school year in preparation for the 2012 MCAS. The Codman Academy Spring program served all ninth and tenth grade students, with 90 students enrolled per semester. 2012 MCAS results showed10th grade students achieving an MSGP of 84.5 while comparative 10th graders in Boston Public Schools earned an MSGP of 59.

2011-2012 Maurice Tobin K-8 School

Tutors for All ran weekday programs at the Maurice Tobin K-8 School during the 2011-2012 school year. Students received math tutorial two afternoons a week. The overwhelming majority of 6th graders were served. 2012 MCAS results showed 6th grade students achieving an MSGP of 87, while un-served students earned an MSGP of 61 and comparative 6 th graders in Boston Public Schools had an MSGP of 54.

2011-2012 Smith Leadership Academy

Tutors for All ran weekday programs at Smith Leadership Academy during the 2011-2012 school year. Students received math tutorial two mornings a week. The vast majority of 6th graders were served. 2012 MCAS results showed these students achieving an MSGP of 82 while un-served students earned an MSGP of 60 and comparative 6th graders in Boston Public Schools achieved an MSGP of 54.

2011-2012 Young Achievers Pilot School

Young Achievers Pilot School (YA) and Tutors for All continued their partnership in the 2011-2012 fall and spring semesters by offering academic support in math only to students in grades five through eight. The students enrolled were identified as needing remedial skill building. The 2012 MCAS results showed that students enrolled in Tutors for All tutorials had, on average, MSGP’s 11 points higher than their unenrolled counterparts.(Average MSGP Level of 53 vs. 42)
